Week 9 of the 2024 Montana high school football season saw the Glacier Wolfpack holding onto the No. 1 spot in the Class AA rankings, with the Gallatin Raptors close behind at No. 2. In the 8-man rankings, Belt and Valley Christian were ranked at the top. These rankings were determined using a linear algebra-based ranking algorithm inspired by the Colley Bias-Free Ranking Method, created by astrophysicist Wes Colley to address subjectivity in sports rankings.
