Montana Budget Analysis Reveals 2.1% Increase for 2025-27 Biennium
Montana’s budget for the upcoming 2025-27 biennium is projected to increase by 2.1% over the previous period, as indicated by the Legislative Fiscal Division. While some lawmakers push for fiscal responsibility, Jones defended crucial spending initiatives, such as HB 924, which aims to enhance funding for housing, childcare, and disaster resiliency.
