Hilton has proudly announced a milestone achievement with the opening of its 1,000th hotel in the luxury and lifestyle segment, following recent openings in major cities worldwide including Paris, Cape Town, Dallas, Osaka, and Costa Rica. This notable achievement is a highlight in a record year for Hilton, characterized by strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and the addition of nearly 100,000 rooms to its growing portfolio.

The company currently has almost 500 luxury and lifestyle hotels in development, with the latest reveal being NoMad Detroit during the recent NYU International Hotel Investment Forum. Hilton President and CEO Chris Nassetta commented, “Our ultimate goal is to serve travelers for any stay occasion, anywhere in the world they want to be.” He emphasized the importance of the luxury and lifestyle portfolios in Hilton’s strategic vision as they continue to establish themselves as leaders in the global hospitality market.

Hilton aims to maintain its momentum with plans to open three new luxury and lifestyle hotels each week throughout the year. In 2025, the company forecasts the introduction of over 150 new properties in this segment. Anticipated openings include prestigious destinations such as Waldorf Astoria New York and Conrad Athens, as well as the launch of LXR Hotels and Resorts in India and Curio Collection by Hilton in Thailand.

Recent openings showcasing this expansion include Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica Punta Cacique, Waldorf Astoria Osaka, and Sax Paris, which further solidify Hilton’s commitment to offering exceptional travel experiences globally. The hotel giant is on a steadfast path to leverage its expanding portfolio and high-profile brand reputation in delivering exemplary hospitality.
