Splash Montana Set to Open for Summer Fun This Weekend
MISSOULA — As temperatures rise in Western Montana, Splash Montana is gearing up for a busy summer season. Recreation swimming kicks off this Saturday, operating weekends until the park fully opens on June 13.
Program Manager Hannah Shepherd emphasized the importance of safety for families. An adult must accompany children six and under, and life vests are mandatory when needed. Parents are encouraged to set up regular check-ins for older kids enjoying the slides, especially during scheduled safety breaks. “It’s a great time to go to the bathroom, hydrate, and reapply sunscreen,” Shepherd noted.
Currently, Splash Montana is fully staffed with lifeguards, ensuring a safe environment for visitors. Parents looking to boost their children’s swimming skills can enroll them in lessons starting June 30, with sign-ups available from June 22. Additionally, the water park is adding adult nights every Tuesday and Thursday in July from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
On peak summer days, Splash Montana can welcome over 1,000 guests, making it a prime destination for fun and relaxation in the sun.
