Greyson Stevens Makes Commitment to Montana State Football

YAKIMA, WA – Greyson Stevens, a promising wide receiver from East Valley High School, has officially committed to the Montana State football program, as announced Tuesday via social media.

Stevens, who stands at 5-foot-11 and weighs 170 pounds, enters his senior season ranked as a three-star recruit and the No. 38 prospect in Washington’s Class of 2026, according to 247Sports. “I’m very happy with my decision,” Stevens stated to 406 MT Sports. He noted Montana State’s recent success, including their appearance in the national championship, as a significant factor in his choice. "They showed me a lot of love and were very welcoming," he added.

Alongside Montana State, Stevens received scholarship offers from several institutions, including Air Force, Idaho State, and Portland State, along with interest from Washington State and Eastern Washington. However, it was the attention from MSU’s receivers coach Sam Mix and the supportive staff that solidified his commitment.

Stevens concluded his college decision shortly after visiting the Bozeman campus last week. “I’m grateful and very blessed to be where I’m at right now,” he expressed. His impressive high school performance includes recording 54 catches for 1,025 yards and 12 touchdowns as a sophomore, followed by 46 receptions for 984 yards and 14 touchdowns last season. In addition to football, Stevens excels in basketball and track, showcasing a personal-best of 10.96 seconds in the 100-meter dash.

He becomes the fifth known commit for Montana State’s Class of 2026, joining others from various schools. As Stevens prepares for his final high school season, his future with the Bobcats is bright.
