Public Assistance Sought in East Missoula Assault Incident
EAST MISSOULA, Mont. – The Missoula County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s help following a weapon-related assault that occurred near the bridge at Deer Creek Road, close to the Sha-Ron Fishing Access Site on June 1. Deputies responded to the scene around 7:00 p.m., where one individual was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment, while another was arrested and taken to the Missoula County Detention Facility.
Authorities are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who was at the beach between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on the day of the incident, especially those who may have recorded video footage. This information could be crucial for the ongoing investigation.
