Butte, Mont. – The Butte-Silver Bow County Treasurer’s Office is urging residents to remember that the second half of 2024 real property taxes are due by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, June 2. Homeowners eligible for the property tax assistance program can benefit from a grace period; if they pay within 20 days of the due date, they will avoid penalties and interest.

Residents can conveniently make payments in person at the Treasurer’s Office located at 155 West Granite Street, Room 206, in Butte, or via mail to P.O. Box 611, Butte, Montana 59703. For those who prefer digital transactions, payments are also accepted through the Butte-Silver Bow website utilizing various online payment methods.

For any inquiries regarding property taxes or eligibility for assistance, residents can contact the Treasurer’s office at 406-497-6303. Additionally, questions about property tax assessments can be directed to the Department of Revenue at 406-691-7111.
