Great Falls Gears Up for an Exciting June with Outdoor Events
GREAT FALLS, Mont. – June is set to buzz with activity in Great Falls, kicking off with National Trails Day on June 7, which marks the beginning of the farmers market season. This year’s Trails Day features a rare opportunity to cross the Cochrane Dam on the River’s Edge Trail, complemented by interpretive talks about the dam. Participants should prepare for a five-mile trek with limited shade, so sunscreen is a must.
Another engaging element of the day occurs at First Peoples Buffalo Jump State Park, where Dan "the Snake Man" will educate visitors about local snakes during guided hikes. Registration is required and capped at 20 attendees, urging those interested to secure their spots following his snake talk on May 17.
Simultaneously, the Great Falls Farmers Market will launch, showcasing over 160 vendors each Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., featuring artisanal goods and fresh produce.
Moreover, from June 9 to 14, Craft Beer Week will bring culinary pairings and culminate in the Montana Brew Fest on June 14, where craft beer enthusiasts can taste offerings from state brewers.
As pleasant weather looms, Great Falls promises an eventful month filled with outdoor fun and community engagement.
