Lodge Grass Student-Athletes Sign National Letters of Intent

LODGE GRASS – Two talented student-athletes from Lodge Grass High School are officially taking their athletic careers to the collegiate level. Tailee Bird and Danielle Jefferson have signed national letters of intent, respectively, to play basketball and volleyball at the next stage of their careers.

Tailee Bird is set to join Dawson Community College in Glendive for basketball. Throughout her four years as a member of the Indians, Bird has made a significant impact on her team’s performance. She was recognized as an all-state performer following an impressive season, which was highlighted by a school-record 51 points and 17 steals in a single game against St. Labre. Bird’s exceptional skills and dedication on the court have undoubtedly paved the way for her future in college athletics.

In addition, Danielle Jefferson will take her talents to Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence, Kansas, to play volleyball. Like Bird, Jefferson has also earned four letters during her high school volleyball career, contributing to the team’s success with her unwavering commitment and athletic prowess.

Both players have demonstrated exceptional talent and determination throughout their high school years, and their achievements are a testament to their hard work and dedication. The Lodge Grass community celebrates their accomplishments and wishes them the best of luck as they embark on their collegiate journeys.
