Miles Community College’s Lance Bratlien Named Mon-Dak Conference MVP
MILES CITY, MT — In a remarkable display of talent this season, Lance Bratlien from Miles Community College has been awarded the MVP title of the Mon-Dak Conference for the 2025 baseball season. The versatile player excelled as both an outfielder and pitcher, tallying impressive stats including a .381 batting average, 19 home runs, and 57 RBIs.
Bratlien showcased his all-around skills by playing every outfield position and making 14 pitching appearances. His pitching record stands at 3-2, complemented by two saves, 51 strikeouts, and a 4.72 ERA over 34.1 innings. Notably, he achieved a no-hitter in March, marking a significant highlight in his season.
In addition to Bratlien’s accolades, several of his teammates were recognized for their exemplary performances. Infielder Luke Thorne of Missoula received first-team all-conference honors along with first baseman Coleman Parry and catcher/outfielder Luke Wilson. Meanwhile, second baseman Cooper Morlang secured a spot on the second-team all-conference roster. Thorne shone particularly bright, hitting .294 with 37 RBIs, complemented by seven doubles, three triples, and five home runs throughout the season.
The Pioneers finished their season with an impressive overall record of 38 wins and 17 losses, underlining a successful campaign.
