Montana High School Track Athletes Qualify for State Meets
MISSOULA – As the Montana high school track and field season progresses, athletes across all four classifications have met qualifying standards to secure their spots at the upcoming state meets. Athletes who achieve qualifying marks during eligible meets automatically qualify, regardless of their finish at district or divisional events. The Class AA and A state meets are set for May 23-24 in Kalispell, while Class B and C will take place in Missoula.
Competitors have showcased impressive performances, with notable times in the 100-meter dash and other events. In Class AA, Cooper Nelson of Helena Capital leads with a time of 10.68 in the 100m, while Luke Ruch has clocked 48.1 seconds in the 400m. In Class A, Solomon Morgan stands out with an 11.17 time in the 100m, and William Snell recorded 48.66 in the 400m.
