As Christmas approaches—just seven months away—Hallmark enthusiasts are busy crafting their holiday movie wish lists, with Christmas Con in New Jersey topping many fans’ agendas. Set to take place from December 12-14, 2025, this much-anticipated event offers fans a chance to celebrate the season alongside their favorite holiday movie stars.
On May 9, 2025, the first wave of confirmed celebrities for Christmas Con was announced, featuring newcomers Brendan Penny, Rachael Leigh Cook, Heather Hemmens, and Brandon Routh. Returning favorites include fan favorites like Tyler Hynes, Kimberley Sustad, Paul Campbell, and Andrew Walker, amidst many more stars who will be revealed in the coming months.
As excitement builds, the event is anticipated to be a sell-out, with VIP passes already gone and weekend tickets nearly sold out. Standard weekend passes were reportedly about 90% sold out just hours after the announcement.
Founded by Thats4Entertainment in 2019, Christmas Con was the first celebrity autograph convention dedicated exclusively to holiday movie stars and has since doubled in size due to its popularity. Attendees can expect various engaging activities, including photo opportunities, celebrity panels, movie screenings, a holiday market, and a festive indoor tree lighting.
The surge in holiday-themed fan conventions showcases the growing interest among fans, especially after Hallmark launched its own Christmas Experience in 2024, featuring nearly 40 stars over four weekends. Additional events include holiday-themed cruises and other conventions, such as the upcoming Christmas in a Small Town event later this July.
