Celebrate Mother’s Day with Free Fishing This Weekend
As Mother’s Day approaches, many might be scrambling for plans to honor their moms and wives. This weekend, why not take advantage of a unique opportunity? From May 10-11, Fish, Wildlife and Parks is offering a special treat: moms can fish for free, without a license.
"Give your mom a fish, feed her for a day. Take her fishing, give her memories for a lifetime," the agency stated in a press release. All you need is a fishing line, some bait, and a positive attitude to enjoy quality time together on the water.
However, the weather may pose some challenges, especially in areas like Missoula, Bozeman, and Helena, where rain is predicted. If fishing isn’t an option due to inclement weather, consider taking your mom to a local ice cream shop for a sweet treat.
