Missile Attack Near Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport Wounds Six, Flights Halted
In a shocking escalation, a missile launched by Yemen’s Iran-backed Huthi rebels struck near the parking lots of Ben Gurion Airport in Israel on Sunday, injuring six people and prompting a temporary halt to flights. The assault, described by Israeli authorities as a rare breach of the country’s air defense, created a large crater just hundreds of meters from the tarmac. The Huthis claimed responsibility, asserting their actions were in support of Palestinians amid the ongoing Gaza conflict. The attack marks the fourth claimed by the Huthis in three days, with tensions remaining high as Israel considers expanding its military operations in Gaza.
