In Loving Memory of Olivia Lynn Schmitt
April 27, 2025 – The community mourns the loss of Olivia Lynn Schmitt, who graced the world for a brief but impactful life. Born on November 12, 2024, at just 30 weeks gestation, Olivia weighed a mere 1 pound, 11 ounces. After a valiant 112-day battle in the NICU, she returned home to be cherished by her family.
Olivia faced significant challenges, including a diagnosis of Miller-Dieker Lissencephaly and congenital heart complications. Despite these hardships, she captivated everyone around her with her strength, warmth, and grace. She passed away peacefully in the arms of her devoted parents, Cole and Kayla, on April 25, 2025.
Although her time with us was brief, Olivia’s impact will resonate in the hearts of her loved ones forever. She is survived by her adoring family, who take solace knowing she is embraced by her great Pipi, watching over them.
A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Daly-Leach Chapel. The family asks for continued love and prayers during this difficult time. Condolences can be left at www.dalyleachchapel.com.
