ZooMontana Mourns the Passing of Beloved Grey Wolf Simpson
ZooMontana officials announced the unfortunate passing of Simpson, a grey wolf who was rescued in 2020 after being abandoned by his pack near Condon, Montana. At just five weeks old, Simpson was brought to the zoo, where he became a cherished member of the community. Diagnosed with congenital hydrocephalus, a condition causing fluid buildup on the brain, Simpson underwent multiple surgeries to drain the excess fluid, significantly extending his life.
