Rush Reimer Signs with Buffalo Bills as Undrafted Free Agent
Bozeman, MT — Former Montana State offensive lineman Rush Reimer has signed with the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent, following a standout collegiate career. According to NFL.com, Reimer is the latest Bobcat to secure an NFL opportunity this weekend, marking a significant achievement for the program.
After transferring to the University of California for the 2023 season, Reimer showcased his versatility on the offensive line. He redshirted at Montana State in 2020 and went on to start four games at right tackle in 2021. He received accolades such as third-team All-America and second-team All-Big Sky honors in 2022 while playing left tackle. In 2023, he further cemented his reputation, earning second-team All-American and first-team All-Big Sky selection as a left guard.
Reimer joins four other former Bobcats who attracted NFL attention this weekend. Tommy Mellott was drafted by the Las Vegas Raiders in the sixth round, while Sebastian Valdez signed with the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent. Additionally, Brody Grebe received an invitation to participate in rookie minicamp with the Minnesota Vikings, and Brendan Hall will attend minicamp with the Green Bay Packers.
The Bills have also signed former Montana defensive end Hayden Harris as a UDFA. Notably, Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen, the 2024 NFL MVP, has a connection to the Bobcats, having played under MSU coach Brent Vigen at Wyoming.
As Reimer begins his journey in the NFL, expectations are high for his performance and potential contributions to the Bills’ offensive line.
