New Whiskey and Cigar Lounge Debuts in Montana

Lone Mountain Ranch resort has recently introduced a unique retreat for cigar and whiskey aficionados called The Trapper’s Den. This restored 1915 cabin, originally used by trappers, is now open to hotel guests and Auric Room members. With views of Montana’s breathtaking landscape, this cozy bar features rich wood interiors, comfortable seating, and vintage artifacts. Guests can enjoy premium cigars such as Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real and Padron 3000 Natura, along with a selection of fine whiskeys including Bulleit Rye and Woodford Reserve Double Oak.

Paul Makarechian, co-founder and CEO of Lone Mountain Ranch, discovered the cabin during a Montana road trip and decided to bring it back to the ranch to give it new life. The Trapper’s Den has quickly become a popular hideaway for guests and members, offering personalized humidors crafted from repurposed ammunition cans for Auric Room members.

With indoor seating for up to eight guests and additional seating on the deck, The Trapper’s Den also features board games and offers a selection of casino games. Guests can also enjoy a variety of activities at the ranch, including whiskey tastings and exploring the beautiful Montana wilderness.
