Jim Hogan, offensive line coach at Helena Capital High School, has been named the recipient of Montana’s 2025 Frank Broyles Award, recognizing the state’s top high school assistant football coach. Hogan’s guidance of the offensive line led to 2,400 rushing yards, an 11-1 team record, and the state championship title last fall. He was nominated by the MHSA and will be honored at a national ring ceremony in Arkansas next February. This award, which was created in 2018, aims to recognize the excellence of high school assistant football coaches on a national stage. Hogan, who also coached at Carroll College during their NAIA National Championships, has demonstrated exceptional leadership and coaching skills throughout his career. Brett Carver from Beaverhead County High was Montana’s 2024 award recipient. Hogan’s dedication to his players and the sport of football has earned him this prestigious honor, highlighting his impact on the team’s success and the development of young athletes. Congratulations to Jim Hogan on this well-deserved recognition as Montana’s top high school assistant football coach of 2025.
