Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke has been forced to leave the Celebrity Big Brother house after using inappropriate language and displaying unacceptable behavior towards his fellow housemates. The 72-year-old star of The Wrestler received a formal warning earlier in the week for his actions towards housemate JoJo Siwa.
During a task on Saturday, Rourke’s threatening and aggressive behavior towards Chris Hughes led to his removal from the show. Hughes had previously comforted Siwa after Rourke made insensitive comments about her sexuality.
Rourke, who was saved from eviction by the public vote, had also upset EastEnders actress Patsy Palmer with his remarks at the dinner table. This led to Palmer breaking down in tears in the diary room, reflecting on her reactions to Rourke’s behavior.
The actor, known for his roles in romantic films like 9 1/2 Weeks and action movies like Iron Man 2 and The Expendables, has now left the show following discussions with Big Brother about his conduct.
