Three people were killed and one person on the ground sustained non-life-threatening injuries after a small plane crashed near the Boca Raton Airport in Florida. The pilot reported rudder issues before the Cessna 310 aircraft went down around 10:20 a.m. ET. The plane was headed to Tallahassee International Airport but seemed to circle back towards Boca Raton before crashing. Witnesses reported seeing the plane flying low and felt a building shake before the crash. The plane burst into flames upon impact, with debris scattered across a roadway and train tracks. Two bodies were visible in the debris, along with a damaged vehicle. Authorities closed the area of Military Trail and Glades Road following the crash, with the FAA and NTSB launching investigations into the cause. The Boca Raton airport briefly closed as a result of the incident.
