Montana Western has transferred ownership of Vigilante Field to Beaverhead County High School, with the completion of the new Bulldog Stadium. The transfer was approved by the Montana University System Board of Regents and recorded on March 7, 2025. UMW Chancellor Michael Reid expressed excitement about the partnership with BCHS and the benefits it will bring to the community. The track at Vigilante Field will still be used by Montana Western for its Track and Field program.
