Montana Job-Stayer Wages on the Rise According to ADP Report


According to new data released by ADP Pay Insights, Montana residents who stayed with the same employer in the last year experienced a wage increase of 5.4% between March 2024 and March 2025. The median annual salary for job-stayers in Montana was reported as $62,000, making it the fifth-ranked state for wage growth.

Nationwide, the median annual pay for job-stayers decreased to $60,300 in March, with a median annual wage growth of 4.6%. However, wage growth for job-changers declined by 6.5%, resulting in a 1.9 percentage point pay premium for those who changed jobs.
