Kalispell Glacier High School football player Jackson Presley recently made headlines by flipping his commitment from Boise State to Montana State University. The talented quarterback, who moved to Montana from California two years ago, cited his deep connections to the Treasure State as the primary reason for his decision.
In an interview with 406 MT Sports, Presley explained that being in Montana has allowed him to build a strong foundation with his faith, as well as form meaningful relationships. He expressed excitement about staying close to home and playing for a state that has provided him with numerous blessings.
Despite receiving offers from several Power 4 FBS programs, Presley ultimately chose to play for Montana State because of the coaching staff, team culture, and the opportunity to compete for a starting position. He visited both Montana State and the University of Montana before making his decision, and felt that Bozeman was the right fit for him.
Presley’s commitment to Montana State signals a new chapter in his football career, as he looks forward to joining the Bobcats after graduating from Kalispell Glacier. With impressive stats from his time at Glacier, including over 5,700 passing yards and 53 passing touchdowns, Presley is poised to make an impact on the field for Montana State.
