Despite the boat sinking, everyone on board made it out of the water safely.

Sheriff Darren Short reminded the public about the dangerous currents and severe undertows in the river, especially near Kootenai Falls. He urged people to exercise caution and wear life jackets when swimming, boating, or rafting in the area to ensure their safety.

The cause of the boat sinking remains unknown, and authorities are continuing to investigate the incident. Thankfully, everyone involved in the accident escaped unharmed.
