announced today that it has reached its $22.5 million fundraising goal for the construction of the first-ever on-campus building for Gallatin College MSU, thanks to generous contributions from the Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation and Lone Mountain Land Co.
The Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation donated $6 million towards the project, while Lone Mountain Land Co. contributed an additional $1.5 million. These gifts, along with significant contributions from other donors, have enabled the university to complete the funding needed for the new building.
Gallatin College MSU, a two-year college that is a part of Montana State University, offers a variety of workforce development programs and certificates to students in the Bozeman area. The new facility will provide much-needed space for classrooms, labs, and student services, allowing the college to better serve its students and expand its offerings.
Construction on the new building is expected to begin soon, with completion anticipated in the near future. The addition of this on-campus facility will further enhance the educational opportunities available to students at Gallatin College MSU.
