Jackson Wagner, a former Anaconda Copperhead and state champion golfer, has found his passion working as the Sports Information Director at the University of Montana. With a dream of working in sports media, Jackson pursued a journalism degree and has since excelled in the world of sports information.
Starting out at UM, Jackson worked with the Kaimin and in sports information, dedicating himself to perfecting his craft. Now, he serves as the SID for men’s basketball, volleyball, cross country, and track and field, embracing each day with enthusiasm.
As a proud alum of Anaconda High School, Jackson brings a unique perspective and dedication to his role at UM. Through his hard work and determination, he has become an integral part of the athletic department, using his passion for the written word to tell the stories of student-athletes and their accomplishments.
Jackson’s journey from a small town in Montana to the bustling campus of UM showcases his commitment to following his dreams and making a difference in the world of sports media. His love for sports and storytelling has propelled him to success in his career, and he continues to inspire those around him with his passion and dedication.
