Montana State University Warns Students Following Reports of Drugging Incidents

Several allegations of drugging incidents at Montana State University (MSU) have raised concerns about the safety of students on campus. Despite some students expressing that these incidents were not surprising, others were shocked to hear about them, especially those living in residence halls.

Campus police at MSU have received multiple reports from students who believe they may have been drugged at social gatherings on campus, including fraternity and sorority events and informal gatherings in dormitories. The specific locations and details of these incidents are still under investigation.

In response to these reports, MSU sent out a mass email to students, warning them of the incidents and providing safety tips. Deputy Chief Adam Pankratz advised students to call 911 if they feel unsafe or suspect they have been drugged.

While these incidents are not very common, it is essential for students to take precautions and look out for their friends. Overall, the campus community is urged to remain vigilant and prioritize safety in social situations.
