Montana Tech’s men’s basketball team secured a No. 6 seed in the NAIA basketball tournament after winning the Frontier tournament title for the fourth consecutive year. They will be facing Southern Oregon in their opening round matchup in Santa Clarita. If they win, they will go on to play either Dakota Wesleyan or The Masters (Calif.) in the second round. Montana Tech is the only current Frontier Conference team in the tournament, with Dickinson State, a soon-to-be Frontier member, also earning a spot as the No. 15 seed and facing Dordt (Iowa) in the first round. Both teams will be looking to make a strong showing in the tournament and represent their conferences well on the national stage.
