Multiple basketball teams earned victories in various tournaments, including the Southern B and C Divisionals. In the Southern B Divisionals, the Baker girls defeated Columbus, the defending champions, with Madison O’Connor scoring 30 points. The Big Timber girls also secured a win over Jefferson with Myalyn Melo and Laney Ketcham leading the team with 13 points each. In the boys’ division, Lodge Grass beat Joliet as JJ Bends scored 25 points.

Moving to the Southern C Divisionals, the Scobey girls defeated Savage with Kaytie Aanstad scoring 17 points. In the boys’ division, Broadus secured a win over Roberts with Jayce Schroeder leading with 19 points. Circle also earned a victory over Froid-Lake, with Madeline Moline scoring 22 points.

The Ekalaka girls team overcame a slow start to defeat Custer-Hysham, while Plenty Coups secured a win over Harlowton-Ryegate-Judith Gap in the Southern C Divisionals. The Terry girls team also earned a victory over Roberts, with Ashley Eaton leading with 16 points.

Various players reached the 20-point club, including Kenyan Davis from Harlowton-Ryegate-Judith Gap with 37 points, Brynecia Hugs from Plenty Coups with 33 points, and Bryan Bidwell from Forsyth with 30 points. Shelbi LaBrie from Saco-Whitewater-Hinsdale and Madison O’Connor from Baker both scored 30 points each. The exciting wins and standout performances set the stage for the upcoming games in the divisional tournaments.
