Four members of the Montana State University Billings women’s basketball team were recently named to the All-Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) team. The players honored are junior forward Taryn Shelley, junior guard Claudia Hart, sophomore forward Alisha Breen, and sophomore guard Destinee King. This recognition highlights the impressive talent and contributions these athletes have made to their team this season.
Taryn Shelley, a junior forward, has been a standout player for the Yellowjackets, averaging 14.1 points and 7.9 rebounds per game. She has been a force on both ends of the court, leading the team in blocks and shooting 48.5% from the field. Junior guard Claudia Hart has been a consistent performer for MSU Billings, averaging 12.1 points and 4.2 assists per game. She has been a key playmaker for the team, showcasing her skills on both offense and defense.
Sophomore forward Alisha Breen has had a breakout season for the Yellowjackets, averaging a team-high 15.1 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. She has been a reliable scoring option for MSU Billings, shooting 44.4% from the field. Sophomore guard Destinee King has also had a strong season, averaging 10.5 points and 4.3 assists per game. She has been a versatile player for the team, contributing on both ends of the court.
