Norden Crown Metals Corp. recently announced new assay results from mapping and sampling at the Sunrise Target in Montana, USA. The discovery of gold mineralization 850 meters from the historic Sunrise Mine has increased the target’s potential. The findings include gold-rich porphyry intrusions, high gold grades in surface samples, and confirmation of an epithermal gold-silver target.
CEO Pat Varas said that the Smart Creek Project in Montana contains attractive exploration targets and that the discovery of gold-mineralized porphyry intrusions near the Sunrise Mine marks a significant breakthrough. Montana is known for its pro-mining jurisdiction, with active copper mines and exploration projects.
The project’s geological setting includes metasedimentary rocks with potential for large copper-gold deposits. Ongoing exploration will involve geological mapping, geochemistry, and IP geophysics, with drilling expected to start in the second half of 2025. Norden Crown’s focus is on discovering economic mineral deposits in historically significant mining areas in the Americas.
