The 2025 class of the Montana Football Hall of Fame has been announced


The Montana Football Hall of Fame Class of 2025 has been announced, with five players set to be inducted into the Players category. Among the honorees are former Montana Grizzlies Kroy Biermann, Lex Hilliard, and Terry Falcon, former Montana State Bobcat Joey Thomas, and former Wyoming Cowboys star Pat Ogrin. In the Legacy category, Bob Schmitz from Montana State will also be inducted, along with Ray Biggs and Tom McMahon in the Support category.

The induction ceremony is scheduled for June 28 at the Billings Hotel and Convention Center, with doors opening at 5 p.m. The event will mark the ninth class to be inducted into the Montana Football Hall of Fame. Tickets will go on sale on January 2, available for purchase through various outlets, including the MFHF website and Universal Athletic stores.

The selection process for the MFHF involves a point system based on football accomplishments post-high school or college. Eligibility is open to players who have participated in the NFL or CFL after their time in Montana football. The Class of 2025 features a diverse group of players with backgrounds in both collegiate and professional football. Rick Halmes, co-chairman of the MFHF, expressed excitement for the upcoming banquet and the stories that will be shared by the inductees during the ceremony.
