The new Billings Leadership Academy empowers aspiring collegiate athletes to gain a competitive advantage

Extra Innings Leadership Academy in Billings is offering a new program aimed at helping high school athletes prepare for college scholarships and beyond. The program includes fitness training, meal preparation, financial strategies, and recruiting guidance. Co-founder Isiac Hammer emphasized the importance of teaching student-athletes daily success tools such as budgeting, time management, and mental health awareness. The 12-week module, costing $1,245, will focus on different topics each week and include sessions led by local leaders in finance, nutrition, and strength training. The academy plans to hold four modules a year to address the various challenges student-athletes face. Athletes will also have the opportunity to learn from current college athletes and explore resources available at local universities. Registration is currently open for the program starting in January, aimed at providing student-athletes with the tools and knowledge needed to succeed at the collegiate level. Sessions will be held at 421 N. 24th Street in downtown Billings and will include workouts, team cooking exercises, and guest speakers from the community. This program offers a unique opportunity for aspiring college athletes in the Billings area to gain a competitive edge in their pursuit of scholarships and future success.
