The rosters for the 78th Montana East-West Shrine Game have been announced, with 41 players on each team set to compete on June 21 at Memorial Stadium in Great Falls. The East team will be led by Malta’s Nick Oxarart, while Helena Capital’s Kyle Mihelish will coach the West team.

The game, which raises funds for the Shriners Children’s Hospital in Spokane, Washington, has been a longstanding tradition in Montana since 1947. Over the past 10 years, the game has raised over $1 million for the hospital.

Last year, the West team emerged victorious with a score of 48-20, marking their fourth consecutive win in the series. However, the East team still holds the all-time lead with 41 wins to the West’s 36.

The players were nominated by their schools and coaches from across the state. The game is considered the premier all-star football event in Montana and serves as a platform for showcasing the state’s top talent.
