Oh my goodness! Famous faces seen in Morris County, New Jersey

Chef Fredy’s Table in Morristown had some unexpected guests recently when the cast and crew of “The Housemaid” stopped by for a meal. Lead actress Sydney Sweeney, along with co-stars Brandon Sklenar and Amanda Seyfried, and director Paul Feig, enjoyed a night out at the restaurant. The group of nine had been filming in North Jersey and were looking to unwind after a long day on set.

“The Housemaid” is a thriller about a struggling woman who becomes a housemaid for an affluent couple. Sweeney, known for her roles in “Euphoria” and “Anyone But You,” was described as a sweetheart by restaurant manager Luis Bedoya. Feig and Seyfried were said to be outgoing and fun, making the evening a memorable one for all involved.

This is not the first time “The Housemaid” has filmed in Morristown, as they had previously shot at The Perk School in January. The production has also been spotted at various locations across New Jersey, including Green Way Markets in Ridgewood and Rutt’s Hut in Clifton.

Meeting celebrities who turn out to be pleasant and down-to-earth can make for a memorable experience. Unlike some famous individuals who may be standoffish, the cast and crew of “The Housemaid” were reportedly friendly and enjoyable to be around. The movie is set to be released in theaters on December 25, 2025, promising audiences a thrilling experience on the big screen.
