Montana Football Hall of Fame recently announced the induction of Lex Hilliard, a former star at Flathead High and the Montana Grizzlies, into their Hall of Fame. Hilliard, who set records at both schools, had a successful NFL career before retiring. He was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in 2008 after a successful collegiate career at Montana where he ran for over 4,000 yards and earned multiple honors. Hilliard spent five years in the NFL, playing for the Dolphins, New York Jets, and the New England Patriots. He will be honored alongside five other inductees at a banquet in Billings in June. Hilliard’s former teammate, Kroy Biermann, is also part of the induction class. The Montana Football Hall of Fame recognizes outstanding athletes who have made significant contributions to football in the state. Hilliard’s achievements on the field have earned him a well-deserved spot in this prestigious hall of fame.
