The Montana Grizzlies football team recently added Logan Knaevelsrud, a 2-star defensive end from Washington, to their 2025 recruiting class. Knaevelsrud, who also plays tight end, chose Montana over NAIA Carroll College. With this commitment, the Grizzlies now have 13 out-of-state commits and four in-state commits. In other football news, incoming player Merek Mihelish was named the 2024 MaxPreps Montana player of the year after leading his team to a state championship. Former Montana linebacker Patrick O’Connell signed with the Seattle Seahawks, and former Grizzlies running back Marcus Knight signed with the Indoor Football League’s Bay Area Panthers. Additionally, former Montana quarterback Sam Vidlak received several honors following his first season at Stephen F. Austin. These developments highlight the success and talent coming out of the Montana Grizzlies football program. As the team continues to build its roster, they remain a force to be reckoned with in the world of college football.
