Meet the Pets of the Week in GAIN | Lifestyle

The Pacific Daily News has joined forces with Guam Animals In Need to help find loving homes for cats and dogs in need. Each week, the newspaper features some of the cutest animals available for adoption at the Yigo shelter. Those interested in meeting these adorable fur babies can visit the shelter Monday to Saturday, but are encouraged to call ahead to confirm hours of operation. For those unable to visit in person, adoptions can also be completed online at guamanimals.org. The adoption process can be done entirely over email for convenience.

For those who are not ready to commit to adoption, GAIN also offers fostering opportunities. Those interested in temporarily caring for an animal can contact GAIN’s acting foster coordinator Kelsey Graupner for more information at kelsey@guamanimals.org. By fostering an animal, individuals can provide a temporary home and help prepare the animal for their forever home.

With the partnership between Pacific Daily News and Guam Animals In Need, more animals have the opportunity to find the loving families they deserve. Both organizations are committed to promoting responsible pet ownership and reducing the number of animals in shelters. By adopting or fostering an animal, individuals can make a positive impact on the lives of these furry companions.
