The Northwest Montana Veterans Food Pantry in Kalispell has been working tirelessly to ensure that veterans in the community have access to meals during the holiday season. With the support of the community through donations and volunteering, the food pantry distributed 105 boxes of food for Thanksgiving and is expected to distribute over 300 meals for Christmas. The pantry has also received generous donations from Montana Legends, a non-profit organization in Flathead County, which provided $30,000 worth of food in November. In addition to providing meals, the Veterans Food Pantry is also hosting a Santa’s Workshop program to provide Christmas gifts for veterans and their families. This initiative highlights the importance of supporting and honoring those who have served in the military.
