Helena natives and identical twins Paige and Dani Bartsch have grown up together, dominating both basketball and volleyball at Helena Capital High School. Despite attending college in different states and being busy with their sports schedules, the twins have maintained a strong bond. Paige plays volleyball for Boise State, earning multiple accolades, including being named Co-Mountain West Player of the Year in 2023. Dani, on the other hand, plays basketball for the Lady Griz at the University of Montana, becoming a second-team All-Big Sky selection.
Both sisters have excelled in their respective sports, with Dani setting a program record for rebounds at Montana and Paige receiving recognition for her outstanding performance on the volleyball court. As their college careers are coming to an end, the twins are facing uncertain futures, considering potential opportunities to play professionally but also prioritizing their health and well-being.
Despite the challenges and sacrifices that come with being college athletes, Paige and Dani are grateful for the experiences and lessons learned through sports. As they prepare for life after college, Paige plans to become a teacher, while Dani pursues a career in accounting. With their final seasons approaching, the twins are looking forward to a future filled with possibilities and the freedom to explore new opportunities beyond the confines of their athletic careers.
