For the past 40 years, Sykes Diner in Kalispell has been a staple in the community during Thanksgiving by offering free meals to those in need. This year, the tradition continues as the diner will be serving up traditional Thanksgiving fare including turkey, stuffing, green bean casserole, and pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving Day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The meals can be enjoyed at the diner or taken to go.
Co-owner Pas Haase expressed gratitude for the volunteers who help make this event possible, as they come together each year to prepare and serve the Thanksgiving meals. Haase expects to serve hundreds of meals and welcomes anyone in need of a warm meal on Thanksgiving Day to stop by and enjoy the hospitality of Sykes Diner.
This heartwarming holiday tradition demonstrates the spirit of giving and community support that has been a cornerstone of Kalispell for decades. Whether dining in or taking the meal to go, all are welcome to partake in the free Thanksgiving feast at Sykes Diner.
