The Idaho Vandal women’s basketball team is gearing up to face off against the talented Montana Tech team, with Idaho currently on a four-game winning streak. Led by top scorers Rosie Schweizer and Jennifer Aadland, the Vandals have been dominating their opponents, including D1 teams.
Montana Tech, on the other hand, boasts a well-rounded team with five players averaging double digits in points, led by Aubrie Rademacher and Hadley Humphreys. However, the Orediggers have struggled in exhibitions against higher-tier teams.
Idaho’s roster includes graduate transfers Olivia Nelson, Rosie Schweizer, and Jennifer Aadland, who bring valuable experience to the team. Additionally, newcomers Kelbie Washington and Hope Hassmann have shown promise in their roles.
The Vandals have excelled in rebounding this season, led by Jennifer Aadland, who ranks among the national leaders in defensive rebounds. The team’s performance has been impressive in the ICCU Arena, and under the guidance of first-year head coach Arthur Moreira, they aim to continue their winning streak.
