Billings Senior’s Leela Ormsby is bouncing back from a freak injury that ended her last volleyball season prematurely. Despite breaking her fibula, Ormsby is now healthy and motivated to lead her team to victory in her final high school season. As a dominant blocker and hitter, Ormsby is considered one of the best high school players in Montana and even in the nation.
Teammates and coaches praise Ormsby’s energy on the court and her ability to inspire those around her to perform at their best. With experience playing alongside her since they were young, setter Addie Falls Down attests to Ormsby’s unmatched level of energy and skill. Opposing teams will have a tough time containing Ormsby, as she is known for her exceptional blocking abilities.
After returning from the Paris Olympics, where she watched the world’s best athletes compete, Ormsby has gained valuable insights and is more determined than ever to succeed. With renewed energy and motivation, Ormsby is poised to make a strong impact in her final high school season. The Billings Senior volleyball team is eager to have Ormsby back on the court and is ready to take on the competition with one of the best players leading the way.
