Lincoln County in Montana is slowly recovering from power outages caused by recent winter weather. Lincoln County Electric (LEC) reports that progress is being made to restore power, with larger outages being resolved and assistance from various crews. Crews from Flathead Electric Cooperative and Missoula Electric Cooperative, as well as other contracting companies, are working tirelessly to address outages in different areas.
However, rising temperatures could lead to snow unloading from tree branches and power lines, potentially causing new outages. Residents are advised to report outages promptly and stay away from downed power lines for safety.
Some of the affected areas include Stryker, Marston, Duck Lake, Edna Creek, Castle Rock, Swamp Creek, West Kootenai, Griffith Creek, and Eureka. Crews from different companies are actively working to resolve these issues. Lincoln County Electric appreciates the community’s support and asks for continued cooperation during this challenging time.
