Montana State University’s junior libero Lauren Lindseth has been recognized as the Big Sky Conference Defensive Player of the Week after her standout performance in MSU’s victory over Montana. Lindseth, a native of Great Falls, played a crucial role in the Bobcats’ win, holding the Grizzlies to an .089 attack mark with her 22 digs, three aces, and four assists. This marks the fifth time in her career that she has received this honor.
With an impressive average of 4.74 digs per set in conference play, Lindseth currently leads the Big Sky in this category. Her career total of 1,316 digs also places her fifth on Montana State’s all-time list. The Bobcats secured their third consecutive victory over their arch-rivals, the Grizzlies, with a score of 25-19, 25-16, 25-23 at Dahlberg Arena.
Montana State University will be hosting Weber State on Thursday night at 7 p.m. in Shroyer Gym.
