Harris has been more vocal in her criticism of Trump recently, highlighting his authoritarian tendencies and lack of ability to work across party lines. Despite Trump’s response on social media, Harris did not directly call him Hitler and focused on the importance of healthy debate in politics.
During the town hall, Harris also discussed abortion and her religious beliefs, stating that her position is about keeping the government out of personal decisions. Meanwhile, Trump held a speech in Michigan, where he continued to insult political opponents, demonize migrants, and focus on the southern border. He criticized Detroit and highlighted cases of crimes allegedly committed by migrants. Trump called on support from left-leaning figures like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard. As the election draws near, polls show a tight race with each battleground state having the potential to flip either way.
