In the run-up to the 2024 election, some undecided voters from Arizona and Pennsylvania were swayed by the recent debate, with Vice President Kamala Harris garnering interest from a few voters who were previously turned off by both candidates. However, while Harris was seen as having a good debate, some voters still want to hear more about her key policies before making a decision.
Undecided voters make up a small percentage of the electorate, but their votes could make a significant difference in a closely divided country like the United States. In Pennsylvania, three undecided voters expressed frustration with the candidates, finding the debate to be “manipulated” and lacking substance.
For some voters, the choice comes down to voting their pocketbook or morals, with the decision proving difficult due to their dissatisfaction with both candidates. Despite feeling frustrated with Trump’s extreme rhetoric and lack of specifics, and with Harris lacking clear policies, some voters are still unsure who to support.
In Phoenix, Denise Lewis found Harris appealing for understanding women’s reproductive rights, while Jeff Herr was turned off by Trump’s response to the Capitol riot. Similarly, Romeo Navarro was intrigued by Harris but felt there were still many unknowns about her policies. Ultimately, undecided voters are looking for more information on the candidates before making a final decision in the upcoming election.
