A 17-year-old boy from Banks, Lancashire has been charged with murder and attempted murder after 13 people, including 11 children, were stabbed at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in Southport, Merseyside. The victims include Alice Dasilva Aguiar, Bebe King, and Elsie Dot Stancombe, who lost their lives in the tragic incident. The suspect, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested on Monday and will appear in court on Wednesday.
The community has been left in shock and mourning after the attack, with five children still in critical condition and two adults injured while trying to protect the children. Police have been granted more time to question the teenager as the investigation continues.
